This subsidiary of Coimex Trading Company was the first Brazilian trading company to create an office outside Brazil to provide operational support for sales of sugar to the international market.

Coimex Suisse centralizes international sales of ethanol, and is also focused on high-added-value business, creating structured trade finance transactions for the Coimex Group.

The company organizes funding at competitive costs in the international financial market, and creates leveraged trade transactions and credit lines with international banks.

Each year Coimex Suisse enters new final markets and increases its transactions in existing ones. As well as Brazil, it now originates sugar from Thailand, Europe, Cuba and India, selling to countries such as Russia, Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Pakistan, Syria, Jordan, Yemen, Libya, Sri Lanka, Iran, Nigeria and Algeria.
