OTACÍLIO COSER FOUNDATION

This foundation, created in 1999, expresses the Coimex Group's investment in the sustainable social and economic development of Brazil, focusing on projects in education and community development, especially in communities neighboring the locations of Coimex facilities.

It is professionally managed, but also motivates the employees of Coimex companies themselves to take part in voluntary work. This not only results in action for social development but, through commitment to the common good, also stimulates creativity and the development of talents in members of Coimex's teams.

The foundation forms partnerships with Third Sector organizations in support of sustainable development and private social investment. These include GIFE - Group of Institutes, Foundations and Enterprisesm - and RedEAmerica (The Inter-American Network of Corporate Foundations and Companies for Grassroots Development) - which operates with the IAF (the Inter-American Foundation), which targets reduction of poverty and social inequality.
